Yes, a replacement vehicle is provided for all customers with a Preferred or Complete plan who subscribed after 26/01/24. Unfortunately, customers who subscribed before this date do not get a replacement vehicle.
Here are the conditions for benefiting from a replacement vehicle:
- Indemnity: up to €80/day, with a maximum of €600 for the entire duration of the repairs. This means that there is no fixed number of days for which the costs will be covered. Instead it depends on the value of the replacement car.
- No deductible.
- Only if the insured vehicle cannot be repaired within 24 hours and is not roadworthy for at least 24 hours.
Here's the process to follow if you need a replacement car:
Situation 1: The car is stuck on the road and you can't move it yourself. Call assistance and they'll help you tow your car and find a replacement vehicle.
Situation 2: You can still move the car yourself. Take it to an authorised garage of your choice. The garage will provide you with a replacement vehicle, and our claims handler will take care of paying the garage for the replacement car. Should the garage inform you that they no longer have a replacement vehicle available, please refer to situation 1 and call assistance for help.
